The trip with Olaf through South Africa was one of the best trips I have ever made. I think very few people get to experience South Africa the way we did with Olaf. Deserted beaches, remote pass roads, hiking tours with local guides (organized by Olaf), cliff jumping in almost secret places, experiencing dolphins up close, paragliding, breakfast in the elephant park after watching the wild animals and evening barbecues where you can talk about everything. In short, simply the perfect trip with one of the best guides!!!!

The trip was simply amazing, there's not much more I can say, I'll try to mention a few highlights here: - Olaf is super friendly, for me the trip felt like going on a trip with friends. - everything was super organized, you really don't have to worry about anything, Olaf can always help with questions - the food every evening was great, you could also describe the trip as a cooking workshop with really unusual things (mussels, oysters, grilled tuna, lamb etc.)

Some holidays are a distant memory almost as soon as the plane wheels hit the tarmac on the way home. Our two week trip to South Africa with good friends earlier this year was a holiday with memories so fresh that friends back home got fed up with hearing how wonderful it was. It’s difficult not to take out your phone and show them how you walked with giraffes, hand-fed elephants, immersed yourself in the natural spa waters in Warmwaterberg, and shared a brai with locals on a sun soaked beach near Cape Town…not to mention the visit to Ronnies sex shop! It was a very personal trip with an itinerary tailored to four adventurous 75 year olds by our guide Olaf who ferried us about in a mini bus. It was because of his scrupulous attention to detail and his willingness’s to go ‘off piste’ when he thought there was something we might like to see or an experience we would enjoy that made this such a memorable holiday - quite simple one of the best we have ever had!
